GOOD NEWS REPORTED

I approached the manager about something today. I wasn't sure how he was going to take the news but I finally just told him we need to look into business security systems. I know he likes to think he can trust everyone in the office but I told him about some of the recent events where some peoples' belongings have disappeared from their cubicles and I guess he had noticed it too. We had to admit the work atmosphere is changing. We let a handful of new employees onto the team and we're starting to have our suspicions. If we get some security in place and we make it very clear that they're being monitored then hopefully it will stop. I think that's the only way we're going to be able to maintain the order and safety around here. Speaking of work, I have some good news! After I talked to the manager he told me that he wants to get together for some coffee next week. He says he wants to talk to me about a promotion! I almost couldn't believe it. I mean, I haven't even worked at the company as long as some of the other employees and he already wants to give me that. He said he's been really impressed with my initiative and my good judgment. I can't wait!
