BILLBOARD FOR ATTORNEY

I was driving out into the middle of nowhere when I saw a billboard for a personal injury attorney in Missouri. Literally, I had to look twice and pulled over to look a third time. It was the first thing I’d seen for miles and it made me wonder if I had crossed over into Missouri and not realized it. The picture showed an old man with slick white hair and a curly beard. He reminded me of the colonel from the KFC logo. He even had a pair of thick black glasses like the colonel did and I half-expected him to offer a bucket of chicken along with whatever legal services he provided. But, no, he just offered to represent you in court if you were unjustly injured and wanted compensation for your pain and to help pay back your medical bills. At the very least, it gave me the excuse to pull over to the dusty roadside for a while to relax and think about all that. It sure would be great if a lawyer offered a bucket of chicken along with legal representation. It’d make me think twice about whomever I’d hire if someone accidentally hurt me.
